Nov 29, 2017: The guy who has been helping me for a week with my new PC has selected this as his quilt. I am so glad someone likes it as much as I do who also still plays cards.
Dec 10: Prepped fabrics for cutting.
Dec 12: Did EQ7 rendition to check the discrepancies in the directions.
Dec 13: Got everything cut ready to sew.
Dec 14: Working on pinwheels & square in a squares.
Dec 15: Working on pinwheels and center medallion.
Dec 16: Finished square in a square & pinwheel blocks.
Dec 17: Finished the medallion center. That leaves 4 borders.
Dec 18: Two borders are on. Also pinwheel pairs in the four corners are joined.
Dec 19: Black border is on.
Dec 20: Last border is on and thus the quilt top is finished.
Dec 21: The backing is ready. Loaded & quilting.
Dec 22: Quilted. Binding is attached. Only hand work left.
Dec 26: Binding is done.
Nov 07: Paula & hubby dropped by with this quilt today. It made planning the spirals a whole lot easier than by email. Measured but forgot to photograph it.
Nov 21: Finally took some pictures.
Dec 06: Prepped ready to load.
Dec 07: Loaded ready to quilt.
Dec 08: Quilting. Using grey thread.
Dec 09: Quilted. Been taking my time, a lot of it. Pictures soon.

Nov 05: Decided to use flannel remnants to make a warm quilt for a dear friend, Van. Can't wait to get it to her as winter cold is rapidly descending on these ancient hills. Should be a very quick little project.
Nov 08: Made most of the strip sets. During the night, I started cutting since I couldn't get to sleep.
Nov 09: Blocks are made. Working just with what I have on hand, I must say the overall effect is off.
Nov 10: Quilt top is done. Back to loading Katrina.
Nov 12: Backing is ready.
Nov 13: Selected Pearl Swirls IQ pattern. Will do it rather loose (thinking 1.5"-2.0") so the wool with fill with air for warmth.
Nov 14: Loading.
Nov 15: Loaded. Quilted. Squared & binding attached. This little quilt has grown on me & I even kinda like it now. I love the soft flannel & Tuscany wool batting -- so light & soft.
Nov 16: Hand binding. And finished. Thus the quilt is finished.
