MAKING A QUILT
is so much more than sewing fabric.
I am but the executioner.
I take your ideas and brainstorm them until we get what you love.

LOTS of decisions -- all yours.
I want you to be as involved as you want to be.
My passion is making quilts that are usable, personal, unique.
COST
For out of pocket expenses, you pay what I pay.
I charge below market rates for labor & nothing for brainstorming, consulting, designing, shopping, blogging, etc.
Of course, when it is my idea to make you a quilt, there are no charges. I get compensated in far better ways.

Gotta Start Somewhere
This is where the two galleries & the Blog come in handy.
As you browse, make a list of the quilts, colors & sizes you like.
The widest quilt I can longarm is 90". If you want something larger, I can still piece it for you but we need to find someone with a 12' table to longarm it.

Planned Quilts
These projects includes kits as well as fabric that can be used in a number of ways. These are projects I like & thought perhaps someone else might too. What I paid is probably less than today's prices. Blog
What's Happening at the Cabin is always listed first & updated regularly. In addition to a few notes &/or images, the real purpose to show what is currently in progress. It gives a pretty good idea of how long it might take someone to get their quilt done. There are quick links to each quilt project. A posted quilt can quickly get buried in the queue. Categories listed on the long column on the right make finding a quilt manageable. They include my finished quilts by year groups & every piecer by name. Near the end of the list is an Archives by month & year. |
Call me anytime. Many times it is just easier and quicker by phone.
I am always willing to discuss your project,
take you on a tour of the website,
discuss anything quilt related.
