Did you know longarming could change the color of a quilt from browns to greens?
Sep 25: Quilt top arrived. Nicely done, Brent. Excellent piecing. Fleur de Lis pattern at 5.25" with Bottom Line #916 Tan thread.
Oct 06: Backing is loaded. Top is ready to load. Ordered a bolt of wool batting. Usually takes one day but this time they are short staffed due to illness.
Oct 10: Batting is here. Cut and loaded what I needed.
Oct 11: Quilting. Will ship Monday if all goes well.
Oct 12: Quilted
Oct 13: More pics. BTW the quilt is neither brown nor green. See 4th image below for the closest I can get to the true colors.
Dpe 06: First contact by husband/wife quilters, Heather & Brent Murphy.
Sep 11: This is Brent's quilt. He had selected King Tut #936 Pharaoh's Treasures at a local quilt shop so I am very glad I have plenty on hand for him. Will use Bottom Line Red on the back. Afternoon lighting is not behaving to do this quilt justice. The pattern he selected is Acorns & Oak Leaves.
Sep 15: EQ7 rendition & pattern overlays to help us select best density. We have a plan to quilt Acorns & Oak Leaves with 13" rows using Quilters Dream Wool batting.
Sep 16: Setup & loading...
Sep 17: Basting. Quilting.
Sep 18: Quilted. Will get a better picture in the morning ... I hope.
Sep 20: Will ship today.
