Dec 01: Prepping. Using BAM panto at 5" with Medium Brown thread which shows as a dark gold.
Dec 02: Loaded ready to quilt.
Dec 03: Quilting. Stopped to remove stitching inside the white reindeer. Much better. Since I'm doctoring this a bit, I put a bit of accent under Santa's face & to stitch around it rather than through it. Quilted.
Nov 15: This is a second small quilt like this Table Topper - Quilted 11/11/2014. WIll quilt it the same way using My Sine Curve for snow effect.
Nov 26: Prepped & loaded.
Nov 27: Quilting...snow all over this quilt. Quilted & shipped.
On Saturday, Nov 9th, my dear friend & head of a most special family passed away.
Duane was the neighborhood grader
who kept our roads & driveways cleared in winter & maintained all year.
Duane was a classic mountaineer, hard worker, solid in faith, family man, faithful friend.
I met Duane on July 24, 2003, the day grading began on my lot.
Wish I had met him a few weeks earlier before I was under contract.
Within a year of longarming I started making quilts for this family.
I say this to say above all how special this entire family is to me.
Trivette Family Quilts
Duane (2), Duane's wife Marie (2),
Duane & Marie's son Tony, Tony's wife Lori, Tony's son TJ,
Duane & Marie's son Charles, Charles' son Caleb,
Charles' wife (then) Myra, Myra's daughter Vanessa, Myra's dad.
Still not through--Duane & Marie's daughter Denise & some grand-kids need quilts.
oh, plus a few commissioned quilts Marie gave friends
