Ye Olde Forest Quilt shop has moved across the street more or less. Solicited to help, we had fun nonetheless while tolerating the heat, the work, the chaos, the meal breaks, did I mention the heat?, the concrete floors, the water--lots and lots of cold water. :Slowly things came together for the most incredible sale one could imagine. Batiks, grunges & other Moda bolts all on sale for ridiculously low prices plus an extra % off for end of the bolt. Patterns, Anita Goodesign CDs, needles, books, thread, so much more I can't begin to cover it all. Fabric I picked up includes

Occasionally I buy fabric if the price is super right like $5 yard & gorgeous. Here is my limited stash. If you can use any of these, let me know. The same is true of other Planned Projects. Eventually I hope to get around to them but if you see something you like, let me know.
Apr 12: Joyce asked if there was fabric with Scriptures on it. I found this panel & been playing with layout options to show her. If she likes it, fine, If not, I've had some fun.
Apr 13: Fabric is on the way. Just ordered the teal for borders. Apr 17: All the fabric came in today. Bought a bit of border sashing since I can't use the top & bottom of the panels. Jan 10, 2022: My friend never had the health to work with me on this. I miss her. Apr 10: Quilt top is here.

Apr 21: Quilting. Apr 22: Quilting day 2. Hopefully things will go faster today. Apr 23: Quilting day 3. All of the white is quilted. And all the blue is quilted. And all the red is quilted. Yep. All done! Apr 05: Picked up a small brushed cotton project for the next baby/child that comes along. Love the delicate super soft fabrics. Went back to pattern I used in 2012.
Apr 08: Playing--only have 4 fabrics to work with. Apr 01: Quilt top arrived. I made the backing and added a matching border to the top. Joan has chosen Minaret for her pattern. Prepped ready to load.
Apr 03: Loaded. Quilting. Apr 04: Quilted. Over 5 Years in the Making
