Meet Joan Taylor from the heart out if you haven't already.
When my class was graduating high school, the Vietnam War was in full swing and many of my classmates were drafted. At our 50th reunion a few weeks ago, I donated a quilt for a drawing among our veterans. So many of them expressed their appreciation for being remembered in this way and their wish to be the recipient, I decided to make a quilt for each of those who attended our reunion.
Joan is asking for our help. If you have any fabric (even small pieces) in your stash--primarily red, white &/or blue--that you would be willing to donate for this project, it would be gratefully received. Just email me & I will help you take it from there.
