Flannel Remnants YBR - Pieced 11/10/2017. Quilted 11/15/2017. Bound 11/16/2017.
YBR = Yellow Brick Road
Nov 05: Decided to use flannel remnants to make a warm quilt for a dear friend, Van. Can't wait to get it to her as winter cold is rapidly descending on these ancient hills. Should be a very quick little project.
Nov 08: Made most of the strip sets. During the night, I started cutting since I couldn't get to sleep.
Nov 09: Blocks are made. Working just with what I have on hand, I must say the overall effect is off.
Nov 10: Quilt top is done. Back to loading Katrina.
Nov 12: Backing is ready.
Nov 13: Selected Pearl Swirls IQ pattern. Will do it rather loose (thinking 1.5"-2.0") so the wool with fill with air for warmth.
Nov 14: Loading.
Nov 15: Loaded. Quilted. Squared & binding attached. This little quilt has grown on me & I even kinda like it now. I love the soft flannel & Tuscany wool batting -- so light & soft.
Nov 16: Hand binding. And finished. Thus the quilt is finished.
