I just got in two quilt tops today from Michelle Binder (Kentucky). She has already selected her quilting patterns as we got acquainted on the phone Sunday evening. These are going to be FUN!! Michelle has shared this: "The pattern is by an Australian Designer, Kate Conklin. The fabrics are a limited release from Laurie Wisbrun, who designs for Robert Kaufman. Donkeys quilt 10/06: Loaded 10/07: Quilted. Notice the two asses, I mean donkeys, on the back!! LOL French Country fabrics
We will be using a Dream Orient bamboo & silk blend batting I ordered and received faster than the quilt top! Per Michelle, "Pattern is from Carolina Patchworks and fabrics are all American Jane (Sandy Klop) for Moda. Sandy's fabrics are always so cheerful." 10/07: Programmed. 10/09: Loaded & basted. 10/10: Quilted!

Linda - They both look so beautiful! Thanks for taking "extra care" with the French Country one. Now I can't wait to bind them both!

Just wanted to give some details on the donkey quilt. The pattern is by an Australian Designer, Kate Conklin, and is available here: http://www.pinkchalkfabrics.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4307. The fabrics are a limited release from Laurie Wisbrun, who designs for Robert Kaufman. They are available temporarily here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/scarletfig?ref=pr_shop

Oh thank you, Michelle. I love knowing about fabrics. I will add this to the main blog also. BTW, if you want full size images I have them for a little while. I post small versions.

Please tell me where I can find the pattern for this French Country Quilt. I can't find it on Carolina Patchworks website. I need the name of the quilt or the name of the book that it is in if possible. I've been looking for a quilt to make for my grand daughter and this would be perfect.

Jackie - It is still there on Emily's site. It is called "Sweet Garden" and can look very different depending on the fabrics you use. Here is a link to copy and paste into your browser:
