Oct 16: Programming IQ. Offered a slight modification to get more consistent stitching.
Oct 17: Refined the plan.
Oct 18: Loaded & ready to quilt.
Oct 19: Quilting. As I rolled the quilt to do the last couple of rows, I suddenly spotted bad tension after it had been so perfect before. A sigh and acceptance that i need to spend some quality time with Jack (the ripper). Done. Turns out rows 1-3 & 5 are perfect. Only 4 was bad & has now been removed.. After quilting rows 6 & 7, I will go back and re-quilt row 4. Strange how that happened with no sign of a problem from the front. Such is longarming some days.
Oct 20: The quilt and I survived yesterday's mishap & all is ... quilted.

haha! the square pieced into the back is the square-est square on the whole quilt. QUILT AND LEARN, as you would say.

Yep! I would. We are all learning from each other & from our time with that seam ripper as we go. Great quilting requires an equal willingness to irp a seam as to sew one (Joan's wisdom, my twist on it).

I meant "rip" not "irp". I have read these comments many times but this is the first time I noticed my typo ... right after ripping out an entire row. Go figure.
