Jan 07: Took my car in for service. Needed a lot of extra help above & beyond the expected. Dennis, whom I have known for a number of years and across two dealerships, helped me with a cool head & lots of phone calls. And my problem is being handled beyond my wildest dreams. Quilt time!!!
Jan 09: Dennis loves the quilt that came to mind when I knew I wanted to make him one. That would be To Sir With Love. He also loves my Arts & Crafts & has commissioned me to make one for this mom. I reserved the rest of the fabric at the quilt store until I could get there Monday. I have met Audrey over the phone so she is involved in some of the choices. Great to work with since Dennis doesn't have a clue except for when it comes to what he likes.
Jan 10: Worked out the design with Dorothy Wonder who wanted the rest of the fabric. I had just enough for two quilt tops.
Jan 11: Bought the feature & some of the border fabrics.
Jan 12: Bought the rest of the border fabrics in Greenboro.
Jan 13: I will use Warm & Plush batting & Medium Blue Bottom Line thread.
Apr 26: Power was off today so I got this out and cut the center panel.
Apr 29: Cut all the borders & binding. Binding is ready to attach. Added 4 of the 5 borders.
Apr 30: Finished piecing. Made the backing. Programmed IQ. Ready to load & quilt tomorrow.
May 01: Quilted.
May 02: Squared. Working on the binding.
May 04: Binding finished & thus the quilt is done.
